Katie Hughes

Bio

Katie Hughes has been teaching rhetoric and writing for over 20 years and has an extensive background in designing courses that integrate instructional technologies and pedagogical strategies with an emphasis on active learning. She also currently serves as the faculty in residence for Instructional Technology Services. In addition to creating and teaching her own online writing courses, she trains faculty from all seven colleges at SDSU to develop online and hybrid courses as co-lead facilitator of the Course Design Institute and Self-Paced Online Training (SPOT) program.
